Another 2j into mk3 question

Hey guys......need a bit of clarification here.

The plan....2jz into 91 mk3.

Does the 7m engine brackets work or do I have to get the 1JZ ma70 brackets?

If I do....does anyone have the pn for the OEM brackets....or maybe a set for sale?

From what I'm aware of it is fairly difficult to find actual 1jz mounts nowadays, BIC used to make some very stout sets for sale.

Yea Ive seen those....but I wanted an OEM set to try and keep everything somewhat stock looking.

Go for the BIC or driftmotion ones, your swapping a motor into the car that does not belong or look at all stock there and your never gonna be able to see those brackets due to their location under the intake and exhaust manifolds. Don't sweat the motor mounts, trust me, you have much bigger more important things to sweat about when you do this swap, LOL.

If you find a set of actual 1JZ engine mounts for the post 89 MKIII chassis I would be very surprised. On top of that the cost that someone will ask for such a rare find is not going to be worth the price considering the fabricated steel ones are equally as good if not better.

Yea thats what I'll end up doing. The OEM pieces have become unicorns.
