there are 2 Live action movies, and the last series took some getting used to as it's not nearly as gritty and gory as the original, but it's closer to the manga...

I knew you guys would have great taste in anime!! Gunslinger Girl was pretty awesome. At least the first couple of episodes that I saw were.
Red Garden - Four girls have to fight people who turn into monsters...
Monster - I heard it was good, but it starts off slower, and I only made it through the first few episodes.

Wangan Midnight is very good so far. Initial D has also been amazing. Escaflowne seems pretty cool as well.
Azumanga Daioh was okay, but not something I would recommend to others. Sure, it had a few good moments, but overall I found it rather boring and there were too many attempt of humor by repetition. I also didn't really like the main characters. The fact that Tomo was almost never reprimanded really bothered me.csr ma71;1278977 said:
