So I took a road trip to LA this week. I just installed the Megan Track Spec coilovers and was feeling pretty pleased with myself. My fiance and I were on I-5 late Thursday night going about 90. Just to see what it would feel like, I pushed it up to about 120. The car felt ROCK SOLID, no nose lifting and no swaying, so I was happy. I backed down to about 90 and cruised on.
About 10 PM some fool in a mid 90s Probe runs on me hard, and is glued to my rear bumper. I'm still doing 90 and trying to pass an 18 wheeler. As soon as I get past the trucker the Probe zooms around me and takes off. My fiance isn't always okay with me running it up on the freeway, so I asked her if I can pwn this guy real quick. She nods.
So I drop to 4th and run up on the guy. We slow to about 80 or so, then he tries to walk me. Not gonna happen. He get about 1/2 a nose before I drop the hammer, then walk him hard. I get to about 115 then slow back down. He's learned his lesson, right? Supra > Probe.
Nope, he charges past and keeps going. I hand him his ass again, this time I didn't even downshift. This goes on for about 3 miles when I've had enough of his shit. I've given up on teaching him that his car is lame and we decide to make a pit stop. I love my new coilovers!
