alternater relocation

i have a alternater relocater kit from suprasport
does anyone know if there is a way to keep the ac when relocating the alternater? i have not yet relocated it but would like to know before i continue. i was a dumbass and didnt really study up on the effects of moving the alternater. i was thinking about a FFI and cleaning up the bay

Maybe you should have read the "Description" on suprasports site:
This braket moves the Alternator to the A/C location...You will NOT be able to keep your A/C with this mod!
This is a good start toward a kamikaze build.......

Okay, here's the thing: The only way you're going to be able to keep a/c is to have a long-runner FFIM, which most on the market aren't. A short runner with a/c is theoretically possible I suppose, but it would be pretty tight on space under there, unless you ditched power steering and moved the alternator to the other side of the motor, or something else that wouldn't make much sense.

In the world of FFIM's, the alternator relocation is a lot less expensive than the actual manifold, so just make sure that you go in the right route when it comes to purchasing the rest of the required stuff.

I once saw a piece that bolted to the stock alternator bracket which basically acted as an extender. this simply lowered the alternator. might try to find one of these. pretty sure I saw it in a FFIM thread on this site a while back.
