Sorry, new to the 7MGTE. Is there a pulley I can use or can get, of course ASAP, that has only 2 grooves, or even 1 groove for 1 belt? Would make my swap a little bit easier if I can get a pulley with one less groove, before I have to beat the crap out of the firewall to clear room. Thanks. Smdgarage@aol.com

Thanks for the read and info, just read all 5 pages and I learned I have a damper, lol. 1 question though, will there be any negative effect on the performance of my engine because I removed the a/c and power steering? thanks.

no, you shouldnt have any trouble...although I wouldnt remove the power steering on a supra on account of its weight unless your using it for only drag...or have the 7m in a different car. oh and you can mess up your engine by using one of those cheap pulleys on a 7m...the one that is in the link that jdub posted is a good one

I am assuming it is in a diffrent car because if it was in the supra i dont know why he would need to beat the firewall back to make it fit in the front

Yes, in a '79 corolla liftback with the big nose. Thanks guys. It actually fit with the power steering and a/c compressor, but since we're not using it, we took it off last night. Only about an inch or so of extra clearance is needed. Also, since I don't have money for the damper, we're going to beat the firewall a tad bit for that inch we need for the stock pulley to clear. I'll take some pics tonight.
