alternate mandrel bend source

ive seen a few retailers selling mandrel bends for $30+ for each bend, and i wanted to let everyone know about an alternate, cheaper source. they sell aluminum, steel, and stainless bends of various degrees and radii.

i ordered a box of various aluminum bends from them last year, and the service was excellent, with shipping the day after i ordered. probably the only difference between these bends and the retail ones is these arent polished, they are just bare aluminum. my IC pipes are built with these bends, and they are easy to cut and weld. if you or someone you know can weld aluminum, these are a great alternative to steel.

just so you know, im not related to this business, i dont get money for referrals or anything, just want to help out other mkiii owners.

Muffler shops can do it for you much cheaper.

Very few muffler shops do mandrel bending. The cost isnt worth it for them based on demand. Most muffler shops that offer mandrel bent pipes are buying the parts just like everyone else.

I would love to have a reasonable source for bends. I am slowly getting better at welding and would love to foray into the world of IC Piping and Exhausts.

looks like i have found a new place to do some busines, i admit i payed 12 bucks a peice for 5 2.5" mandrel bent steel pipes, i found them on his site for about 5 bucks less apeice.. also found his 3" inch isn't to spendy either, i will probaly attempt to make an exhaust for a project aswell..

Great Link... What center line radius are you guys getting off of them? If you order a 24" CLR then that means it's 12" on each side from the middle of the bend correct?

i think so, when i picked up my last set i got some u-bends and they had 12" leg's on them.. the site has a full description of what each abrivation means.

I ordered my 4" stailness for my exhaust from them, very cheap prices! i think it was 200 shipped for 8' straight and 2 90* 6 clr bends.. cant beat that!

mine was about $15 to ship to blaine washington. they ship to canada now, but only through UPS.
