Same as before. Let me know what you guys think.

http://www.vcsystemsonline.com

I literally JUST finished the flash banner. Got to be at work @ 7:30am to finish modularizing our workstations in the Santa Fe PC Shop, so I'm turning in early.

I'll leave it up for now. Let me know, if you guys/gals don't mind, what web browser and screen resolution you guys are using.

*edit*

PS - the content of the site isn't finished. I'm planning on putting a map up on the site for my location, as well as setting up an email form under 'contact us' - but first impressions are important, so I want to see what you all think of the initial page ;)

website looks much better, nice job:aigo:. Much cleaner and consistent.

Firefox 2.0
res. 1680X1050

try saving your images under .png format. should fix them from being to pixelated with transparency.

edit: nvm, just checked and it needs a way better path with the pen tool.

how long did it take?

Well, first off how is that banner supposed to look like?
EDIT: The flash thing works for me. I like it very much :D but...
... the location and phone number looks a lil out of place especially in comparison to the sitemap (you know 'Main', 'Services' etc.).

I'm using the latest firefox (3, I think) at 1024x768... it's a notebook.

Ok, so this scroll bar I guess is what it's called, well it still is grey and looks like it doesn't belong to anything. It's just hovering on the right, staring at me... I would still change the color of it.

Main looks good but personally I think it has too many pictures. They seem to be all on the main site and the rest of the website has nothing. Just kinda too full for my taste (but remember I'm only one out of millions). I'm not sure what I would do but I possibly would either turn one pic into a weird background pic (see-through type deal thing) running thru the entire webpage or I would put those into 'Service' or 'Products' depending on space and whether it would fit or not.
Just me though.
Also have your web address in your header maybe. I don't understand why it is under the banner...

Services and Products looks very good. Tho I do not quite understand why you repeat the words Services and Products underneath the banner and then on the left it says either Services include or Products include. I think it would be doing fine without the repetition under the banner.

Location looks fine. Same thing with repeating tho as above. I'll wait for it to be finished before I say anymore :D
Oh, maybe I would call it Contact Us... repeat your proper full address with phone, fax etc. and then have all the location info. Like I said before Location and Contact Us goes hand in hand imo.

About Us looks good. Same as above with repetition under the banner but other than that good.

So yeah, good looking site... I like the colors, everything seems to make sense link wise, people will know and understand what it's all about. Good job.
Oh, quick question: You are using the same font all over, right?!

Yes, same font. Verdana (sorry fellow *nix users, you'll have to install the MS TT Fonts ;))

Yeah, IE is being stupid about the Flash. I'll see what I can do about it tonight - need to eat real quick, then head to my next comp appt. Gonna get on the phone with some of these machinists while I'm doing so ;)

Flash is fixed in IE7.

TopSecret, that scroll bar should scroll up and down. Are you saying the scrollbar is not working?

*edit* Moved the phone number in the flash. Honestly, I need to come up with some little catchy slogan for my business to put there (and put the phone number back to the side)

Professional Solutions to Professional Problems, perhaps? I feel like I'm segregating the home user at that point. A whirlwind of solutions? Faster than a speeding tornado? VCS: We'll Flatten Bugs like an F5! (obviously thinking out loud here)

Works perfect, and looks good. I would touch up on the images on the front page, there us still some of the white space around them.

Nah, it's doing it's job. Personally I would just change the color so it fits the theme of the website.

EDIT: Had a quick look at it again... like it better every time :D. I dunno if you are done fucking around with it yet so I'll wait a little bit before I maybe yap even more...

I'll see what I can do. I thought the regular grey looked good with the dark grey / orange theme I've got going. ;)

Forever, I'll keep working on them :)

I like the way the site is shaping up :) I'm also enjoying dinner right now ;)

MS implemented their own CSS scrollbar styles, that are NOT supposed by the W3 consortium. Therefore, any browser using anything other than IE's engine will ignore the non-standard CSS style.
