i have an OEM HG if you want to do a quick fix, but with you driving around w/ the BHG i fear it might not be a simple job.
i would suggest either going 1/2jz or getting a 7m and rebuilding everything.

well i have an na 7m block in the car right now but i also have a spare turbo motor
i thnk that i am going to have the turbo motor built up and put my turbo rear end and r154 into my na-t
figure gonna spent about four or fice grand on getting it up and running again
once i get an ins check i am going to start looking for a machine shop to do the work i already have a performance mechanic to do all the rest of the work
KC racing is the best performance guy i know around here and he is a good freind so he gets the work
i figure that the really sticky part will be finding someone to tune the car after it is built
KC racing can built anything fast but i need a dyno )i beileive) to tune the supra to beconme a imprt eater looking for a 10 second or better street ride
i want to find a jz front facing intake for it
so if anybody knows of one let me know will to trade all kinds of parts for one
i have a complete parted out parts car

i know a machine shop in middleboro that does good work for a decent price. but if you're gonna spend that much money why not just go 2jz? you can do 10's on that motor without even touching the internals.

5 grand just to get her running????? HA thats stupid money unless you are rebuilding and going all out on parts

A head gasket job is around $1,000 but if you do it your self just a couple hundred the bottom half of the block should be just fine .... Take the head and get it checked out and have the machine shop do the head work then put it together yourself.
