Almost got wiped out by an MR2

A dumbfuck driving a fairly nice old MR2 Northbound jumps the Southbound lane to pass. The result is many vehicles involved in the wreck. I don't know how I missed getting hit. He strikes a Ranger almost head on first and then while he's spinning all over the two lane road his hitting other cars and finally gets nailed by a Dodge dually that was behind me. MR2 driver the only one hurt thankfully. I feel kinda bad now about running up to his car and calling him a fucking dumbass, but that's what he was. People behind him said he'd been swerving into oncoming traffic for the past 5 or 6 miles trying to pass. Thankfully I had parked the Supra this morning after getting home from work and decided to do my running around in my truck.

damn that was a minty mr2... sucks the owner didn't know how to drive... glad you didn't get hit and your okay as well. :)

Wow what an idiot...

Sounds like some very nice driving there to avoid getting hit! Hopefully no one was hurt too badly.

60 MPH crash and the Dodge needs a new bumper. Pwned

Reminds me of crash in the school parking lot last year... Some dick in an old little Saturn coupe blasted out of a spot (he was cutting in between rows) at like twenty miles an hour... An older Dodge (like that one but with the V10) ran into him and just decimated the Saturn. Dodge had ONE tiny dent in the bumper. It was priceless.


Glad you're safe, sucks about the MR2.

You should have just done what the cops do when they see an idiot wreck a car in front of them. They run up to the car and pull the guy out and cuff him while kneeling on his spine. Then they go around slapping each other on the ass while adjusting their mirrored aviator sunglasses and stroking their mustaches...

...sorry I just went off on a tangent.

somehow its appropriate for once the only person injured is the one who caused it.

I washed my truck today and noticed a dent in my rear bumper. A very small one, but one that wasn't there before. I knew I felt/heard something as he went spinning by me. I'm not going to pursue it though, there are plenty of other vehicles he hit with significant damage, and showing up a couple of days later with a little bitty dent would seem fishy.

WOW... I feel sooo bad for the MR2, just not the driver. Speed is fun, but respect your car and other people on the road, you know?

I've avoided my fair share of accidents so I always count my blessings. Thankfully you're safe!

:( Ouch, that was a beautiful AW11. Emphasis on "was". *sigh* Considering what happened and how many cars he hit, the car's not in the terrible shape one might expect. Those are tough little suckers.

I'm glad to hear you weren't involved in that mess and came out of it with nothing more than some sad pictures and a small dent on your truck.
