i knew that 935 sold an alarm system for our cars, but then i stumbled upon something that looked almost exactly like the kit that they sell, but $20 cheaper, and was wondering if any of you guys could object to my choosing the cheaper alternative.

here's 935's kit:
https://935motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1440

and the kit i found at "AdvancedJDMParts.com":
http://www.advancedjdmparts.com/product.php?productid=16564&cat=277&page=1

any comments? the only thing i could think about is that the 935 is guaranteed to work on the mk3 supra, but i'm sure that flexibility applies with all kits like this. or am i wrong? :icon_surp

I wouldn't trust something like that. It looks REALLY cheap. get something made by DEI (Viper/Python/Clifford)

It will DEFIANTLY be worth the extra money. And if you don't know what you're doing, pay someone who does to install it.

so would the one from 935 be alright? because i'm mainly getting this for the remote locks, i don't carry anything of much worth in my car, and no one wants to steal the whole thing

Personally, I wouldn't use either.

Are you willing to bet your car on it? I've known people who have had some real pieces of crap stolen.
