B52's are my favorite plane. When Carswell AFB in Fort Worth was a SAC base, B52's were based there. There is a highway parallel to the runway I used to park off of and watch them take off and land. They are what inspired me to join the Air Force.
If you guys ever get the chance to be in Tucson Arizona, go take a tour of the airplane graveyard. Very cool. There is also a great museum there too call The PIMA Air and Space Museum. It's the most impressive museum I've seen. Lot's of B52's and other historic aircraft.

Well, today was cool. I work Quality Assurance for those of you who know what that is. So, we are always on the flightline making sure everything is safe and what not. Well, I was out there today and got to watch the F-4, F-18's, Thunderbirds F-16's, F-15, C-5, B-52, C-21, C-17 take off out of the base. Also, we did a FOD walk (pick up rocks and metals) for the F-22 and watched it taxi out. He just moved to the other ramp since the pilot was "sick" and was taking off tomorrow. So, today was pretty cool.
I'm a flying crew chief so I see these planes all the time in the air. I would have to say buffs are the best to watch do AR! It looks like they are flapping their wings trying to get on the boom. Still sinister lookin though!
