Unfortunately, the degreaser killed the airflow sensor in the housing. It's time to get a replacement AFM or a new sensor.

Yep...seems like a good thing to do. Those type of cleaners (carb, brake, etc) will kill the AFM.

You can try this...take the sensor out of the housing, get some PURE alcohol in a small jar, swish the probe in the alcohol for 30 sec, and blow it off with a can of compressed air (used for blowing out computers). Do this once and try it.

If you're lucky, it will work...if not, you have to get a new sensor. You really have nothing to lose at this point. It's also likely the sensor will fail in the future even if this works, but you may get some time to find a good one to replace it.

get a MAFT Pro and switch to speed density. You eliminate the AFM all together ;)

After reading these threads I'm a little nervous about MAFT Pro. Jdub, do you have one running well?

I'm not...I have an AEM EMS sitting here begging to be installed. I just keep getting distracted with gauge fuses blowing, timing belt jumping a tooth, tranny computer going tango uniform, and my fan controller frying itself.

Now that I've vented ;)
I personally know a couple of guys running the MAFT Pro...looks like to me the latest software load is causing some problems with the learning curve of the end user. I guess the guys that load it get to be beta testers.
