maftpro just doen't give a constant temp singnal? I figured it just gave a reading then adjusted for temp via afm singal.. or does the maftpro actually relay the temp it reads to the temp signal?
thats what i want to know aswell
i just fixed my code 22, my ecu water temp problem
then i had 24&32, i remember some one saying put a resister in the afm clip, so i played with a couple resisters and checked voltage at the ecu between the terminals that the code helper pointed out for the afm wires. had one that read 1.57, one that read 3.0 and third one was a charm at 2.48
i re-set the ecu and disconnect the maft pro, i also cut this wire going to the temp sensor on the afm clip. (i recconeect for this test) and powered up, the check engine light flashed no codes,
i had been running w/no hac sensor, and installing one made no difference in codes. i did how ever get rid of two codes by installing a resister, although when i plug the maft pro back in, and check for codes, code 24&32 are still there. and doesn't matter if i leave the afm clip wire twisted together or disconnected.
should i wire the maft pro up to turn on when the key hits acc's? that way it's on when im listening to the radio?. i figured if it's booting to slow then if it was already booted when the ecu does the pre-test that it should go green.
any ways, about to check the diagram to insure proper hookup.
