Air fuel guage? not sure if its working right

not sure if its working right when it blanks out past lean. I just found out today that its a narrow band o2 sensor, im going to get a wideband as soon as i can afford it. I should have looked in the forum first before getting it. oh well, got to learn one way or another i guess.:nono:

Narrow band, all it is good for is a light show on the interior of your car. Anything it shows or reads has no importance to what is really reading. Don't worry about what it shows, tell you replace it a wideband.

The stock ecu kills fuel upon decel so you'll get a lean reading.....on idle it bounces back and forth....crusing it will fluctuate a bit....full throttle it will read rich and stay rich...

Sound about right?

Your guage is showing you exactly how your ecu functions between closed and open loop;-)
