Air flow meter.

Alright so I have a question about air flow meters. I have a parts car with a 7M-GE sitting in my backyard and I have done some searching. The stock 7M injectors are 330cc. I have a 1G-GTE with stock injectors that are about 315cc. Could I take the air flow meter out of the parts car and put it in the 1G without a problem? I ask this because my air flow meter is in rough shape and replacing it would not worth it until it fails. As far as I can think the only thing that would depend on changing it without a problem would be the same size injectors and the plug that goes into each AFM is the same.

There isn't much info on 1g supras here in the states but the 7mgte supras have different electronics than the 7mge...I have a feeling the same applies to the 1g....

But as long as the plug is the same the eltronics should be the same? This is just more of a thing I am doing out of boredom being at work... Since there is only a 15cc difference it shouldn't run lean right? Pending if the eletronics are all the same?

That is some good infomation... Regardless I will look into more at a later date once I have my A/F ratio gauge... Like I said it was just a thought out of boredom while I was sitting at work. But I thank you guys for the information.

Well I have the 1986.5 N/A... But if they are indeed bigger I am all for it... No fuel pump upgrade should be needed should it?
