I think the word of how K&N's don't filter well, leave oil on MAFs etc is getting out. A lot of people at my work have been asking about the oil issue with KN's. I just tell them, yes they flow more air vs paper, but don't filter out dirt like paper does and then theres the issue of oil on the MAF. Let them decide.

Well, you can always do the same delta P measurement I mentioned while doing the big suck on it. You'll find the drop to be tiny even after it's been in service awhile.
I hear ya on the K&N thing but it's like oil. There's just too much misconception and myth involved. People are gonna do what they're gonna do. I've pretty much given up on those who believe marketing hype over science. Besides, it's their ride and they have every right to do as they please with it.
