Im getting a swap done to the supra since my current motor is just in horrible shape (Rust inside, chunk of metal missing in the cooling system, leaks everywhere etc etc). Well I got a Real Garrett T3/T4 60 trim turbo and wastegate for cheap from a friend and was wondering if anyone has put on an aftermarket turbo on a stock intake manifold. I notice I will have to buy a new turbo headers and I believe it will cause the turbo to sit higher right? Wouldn't how the stock manifold intake pipe route hit the turbo? Anyone have any input and pictures? Aftermarkt front facing intake manifold price are way too much.

The turbo doesnt mount to the intake manifold - I assume you meant the exhaust? Yeah - lots of guys have used the stock intake mani with non-CT flanged turbos. Short of an adaptor for the hot side it really isnt too much different. Look around

Yeah I meant on an aftermarket turbo Exhaust header. But If those adaptor works to used the stock exhaust header then I am all for that too. But Bowsercake what turbo are you using? How do you deal with the wastegate?

The adapter I have is for a T3 turbo. Those turbos have integrated wastegate so there is no need to worry about external wastegates, it is set up exactly like the stock one.

I believe my adapter is from the GReddy TD06SH carb legal turbo kit. It came on an extra manifold that came in a box that came in the car that I bought (sorry for that sentence). However, that manifold looks new and the adapter still had a new gasket so it was never used. Also, it seems that they never even used the TD06 because they had a T4 manifold with a T78 that was stolen. So, I don't even know how/why I have it.

I believe that this adapted can be bought separately from the kit if you want to but there is a limited supply, and I bet it is a little pricey.
