We have some at vex. Maybe I should get a set and try and get it mounted. And we have a crap load of "front" ones (well thats what the civic people call it) because all people only want the rears. So I can probably get that to work.. I'll look in to it tomorrow. And our tow hooks are atleast 10x thicker then the one on supra8903's car.

Wait, what about one of our rear tow hooks? Just go pull one off at the junk yard and weld it on, no?

All it is, is some sort of metal hoop that can support weight. Doesn't even need to be a "tow hook."

If I was to test fit one of the tow hooks we have at the shop soon where would be the best place to bolt/weld it on at the front of the car?

The front tow hook looks a LOT like the stock tow hook I had on my 82 hilux...

I bet it would bolt right on if I ever found the damn thing...

What a bizarre place for a tow hook. What organization does he drive with that allows a tow hook in that location?
Not sure about the organization question...but it's a special tow hook to fit with his APR Strut Bar. IIRC, it's bolted on top of the strut tower. He had a hole cut in his hood so he can have it there.

If I wasn't at work. I'd call Jeff Watson @ Champion. :icon_bigg

But if you can or someone call him/champion?

He's checking with japan and he'll call me when he gets an answer. :)

Look at the very bottom 51926. No price listed. Part number not found on other US OEM Toyota parts sites.
