Aftermarket rods on 1jzgte

The stock rods are stout, so not many people have used aftermarket rods. No one on SM that I know of

i was wondering how much HP can you get out if the 1j rods before you have to upgrade. i would probally cry if i slung one.. This is just for future reference.

Tomei makes one too. Tomei is made from a US manufacturer, I'm sure of the same for Greddy, so you pay for the name that they made the rod in the US, shipped it to Japan, then shipped back to the US, lol.
If you think about how strong they are stock, same design as a 2J, only shorter and thus should be more stout. I wouldn't be surprised to see the stock 1J rods make the same power as a 2J as often as a 2J. That's because they are, a lot don't post numbers. Some don't even post the right numbers

They still fatigue with hi hp for a while. I have one of my 1jz's with over 800 to the wheels.
Sorry Boss... I don't have any specs as I bought it as a short block from Japan as is. The crank was stock and the thrust washer was thicker by at least .010 and I had to have a machine shop made one for me.
