I am looking to purchase an aftermarket flywheel, i know that the fidanza units have some problems so i am trying to stay away from those, i have heard that the unorthodox flywheels are awesome, i have not heard much about the rps or clutch masters flywheels. any input based on experience is greatly appreciated thanx.

What kinda problems do people have with the fidanza? Just wondering because a friend of mine has one, but its not on the road yet. Maybe next week.

someone had a post where they installed a fidanza and the clutch would not disengage or something. i think it was that the flywheel did not slide on to the crank enough.

I just ordered my rps today from jeff. hope to get it soon and let u guys know how good it is.

I've heard no problems from fidanza flywheels. I think Dr. Jonez had a flywheel with a problem, not sure which brand it was.

i believe dr. jonez's problem was with an RPS, unless my memory fails me.

what do you guys think of getting a OEM Flywhel Sahved, Resurfaced, and hot tanked? There's a shop in my area that does that, all for 120. They quoted me 9lbs off the stock flywheel. i'm thinking about going this route since it's somewhat the most bang for the buck. Or would you guys say that i should wait and save for a RPS or another name brand flywheel?

Fidenza used to have problems with the bolt hole pattern years back from the reports I remember, but as far as I know, that's all resolved.

Your memory is impeccable. The Doc is one of the people who had a problem with the RPS unit

sweeet:)

Eric_Odie -i'm not sure about the others, but the fidanza has a replacable friction surface, so when it gets worn out, simply buy a new one. i wouldnt bother with a stocker, but thats just me. every part i can, and that i have the cash for, i try to upgrade.
