^god forbid the original owners aren't alive. It is safe to assume that those two will be picked up rather quickly at a shelter, hopefully as a pair!

I watched the video today, and while it was heartwarming to see the dog sticking by the other....what really pissed me off was the news crew was just standing there filming them rather than helping them.

I read apparently both dogs were rescued later, but I can't find that source anymore. :\
