Well mine are old and not so blingy anymore so I painted them and the turned out great. The joints themselves are not the problem its the boots. Like IJ said the joints themselves don't generally go bad but the boots tear all the time which leads to joint failure. This is my problem. So I'm working on a reasonable solution other then replacing the whole control arm or custom ball joint. Energy Suspension makes universal poly ball joint boots. I ordered them the other day and should be here by Monday. If everything goes well I will post the results. This way people can have solution to this and it doesn't brake the bank. For 4 of them they were $13 shipped. So much cheaper then buying brand new control arms.
