AFM weird LS400

So i got sent a LS400 afm but it looks completely different (correct me if i'm being a dumb ass)

but mine died so i thought feck it cars off the road just update the thing it kinda looks odd not like mine but heres a pic

is this the right afm ? if not what the hells it off i was assured it was a 4litre V8 ls 400

oh fookers haha it came from this car which i just noticed was a 97 haha oh well guess i'll have to sell it. haha paid bloody £80 for it. doubt i'll get that back *sigh*

That is a hot wire mass airflow sensor. A much better method of measurement. Pitty Toyota took so long to utilize the device. I never could understand why.

SCORE hehe i got my money back for the afm. now i'm just wondering where to get a propper one for my car. anyone got any good links or places that ship to the UK? theres some from sellers on ebay but i'm not sure if i trust them does anyone have any experience with these?
