Been having this issue for a while, you can see it in the video.
The coolant temp randomly spikes to over 200*F
Not sure if this is just a faulty sensor or if its a wiring issue.
Anyone have any ideas?

And make sure your coolant stays full right to the top of the rad - if you are getting air it might be a leak in the hose to the overflow, or the 'dip tube' in the overflow tank itself.

Radiator is filled to the top and bled, res is topped off. Hose is new with worm clamps.
Thx for the suggestion tho :)

I'm can't say with 100% confidence it's not an air bubble but I really don't think it is as the car has gone through quite a few heat cycles so it should have purged all the bubbles by now.
This is the reason I've put off replacing the sensor. Really didnt want to have to bleed it again.

Maybe I'll just plug another sensor in and see if the number jumps. If it does then at least I know it's not an air bubble.
