Hello everyone. My question is, can I run my car on the stock ecu with the maf for a while till I get the aem, map, and ait wired and installed. I have got no more money and I want to start breaking in the car. Is this detrimental to the engine's health. Can I drive it like this for a while?
Mods are
264 cams
70mm t4 setup
700cc bosch injectors
walbro
afpr
hks intercooler
If i missed anything thats relevant as far as mods its in my build thread.

If you have them, use your stock injectors and you should be fine as long as you run stock(ish) boost. Rob (92nsx) ran with BC 272's and other bolt-ons all summer with the stock computer, but he was also running a CT26.
If you do not have stock injectors available, then I would suggest waiting until you have the AEM installed, then have the dyno shop break the engine in on the dyno during the tuning session. As-is, your vehicle will not run right and may even damage internal engine parts.

HUGE for a stock ecu is more like it...

swap the stockers in, stay out of boost (or minimal boost) and grandma it till aem...

You run the risk of washing down the cylinders with fuel.....your best bet is to do the break in on the dyno while tuning!

Break in takes about an hour or two on a dyno and your good to go.

Thanks alot guyz. I will just have to tow the car to a shop that can install te aem, AIT, and MAP sensor for "cheap". But now I have a car that turns on but I cant use it. OH the PAIN. I want full boost now. Ill just have to wait a couple of weeks till I can pay a shop to do it. Does anybody know a shop in socal that can do this and not cost my left testicle? I still want a decent job though.

^^^Smart move. ;)

As toyotanos said I did brake in my engine on the OEM TCCS, but I was running stock fuel and OEM ct-26.

Ok so I was thinking what I said about breaking it on the dyno once I have the Ait and map and aem intalled. It just seems like this will take way too long and I will have to wait till I have about a thousand dollars to break in and tune. I just dont have that money. Im thinking of just swaping the injectors for now and breaking in on the street. I have a lexus afm though. I have to either get 550's or get a supra afm and 440's right? Does this sound right or am I just being impatient. I want to be reasonable.
Edit: Kaizon will instally my sensors and intstall a base map. Than I can drive it around and correct any issues before I go pay 180/hr for dyno tuning.
