Fuel and Ignition control system

I have a 91 na 5 speed.
My ecu is fragged.

It reads like this thing needs the ecu for climate controls.
I have done an ac delete.

So I'm wondering of any one knows if this thing will for certain.
Replace my stock ecu??

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

buy a new ECU.....a NA ECU is all of $50 here or on ebay.

again, the FIC is NOT a standalone....i.e. you need your stock ECU to control timing, idle, etc.
