Forgive my nubeness question, but the stage 2 cams aren't needed for this build if I understand it all properly. I dont think that you would want to go to that unless you were topping 500+ rwhp. (thats what I understand, but I could be wrong on that)
Lex AFM + 550's is pretty well the "cheap" route to top 350 HP I think. If your going to spend the $$ on cams, your power goals (and injectors as well as fuel delivery system) should be higher. Its nice, but not needed.

Am I wrong?

Since you guys are on the debate of running the Lex AFM and 550cc injectors, would that also be a good upgrade if I am installing stage 2 cams from Brian Crower, keeping the stock CT-26 running around 15 psi until I go standalone? I am looking at the AEM standalone and I am wondering if it just plugs into the wiring harness at the stock computer and everything else stays the same? So in the case of the standalone, would I be better off having the Lex AFM?

Cams move your power band around. The issue is that you're going to be opening up the top end where the CT falls flat on it's face.

HP/$, cams aren't a good buy unless you're on a large turbo and a standalone with a higher rev limit (and of course everything that goes with it).
