i found a full 5speed swap for her for $650 peddles, master, trans, driveshaft, LSD, all the lines i need, and the electronics for the tech to work the only thing is i'd swap it for a turbo dash that i don't like cuz the boost gauge is useless to me lol and i like my volt meter
but building my auto it going to be like 3k where as going 5speed is goining to be under a grandLilMissMkIII said:Auto is FTW

I have always (as a cost necessity) done my own trans work, but my understanding is that auto transmission rebuilds alone are pretty pricey.
Parts are expensive but labor for trans work is huge. And I'm sure anyone who builds a solid high performance transmission is gonna be even pricier.
So I'm guessing, 3k sounds maybe about right.
SB: Mine cost me $2800 AUD shipped interstate and was a full build so unless someone is getting bent over there I would have guessed it would be cheaper in the US?
well i called and they said they had a full car for sale for 5000 and a 5speed clip for 2300 also had aristos for like 1800 with an auto. but when i got there suddenly no one knew about the clip they had. but they have a crap load of 2j and 1j with wiring harness so i might hunt down a fcon ecu or stocker and jsut buy the motor
well after talking to my buddy in japan i might have him buy me a clip and ship it here in a crate my work brings over every 3 weeks
speaking of lucky can anyone say 4.30 LSD?
