Hey guys I just replaced the CPS on my car but i think i installed it incorrect. The timing mark is at nevative 0* degrees and the cps cant be asjusted anymore. What should i do? should take out the cps and move on tooth?

And also if i take out the cps to adjusted should i have to have the engine with the 1 cylinder at TDC??? thanks

set the engine to tdc.
Make sure the crank pulley is at 0.
Then install the cps, there is an image of what it looks like in the faq section when it is at 0.

I got the same problem after i rebuilt my cps . So I followed " Shaeff " basic timing instruction, cps alignment in tech- tips . I turned crank pulley to 0 and make sure piston #1 to dead top, remove cps then reinstalled and readjusted . took me no more than 15 minus .
