interesting info as I did not know that there were companies offering this type of setup.
I have been designing something to this effect for some time now, due to my location and the roads in New England being flat out terrible. lol

A bad place to be a car guy... probably why everyone drives lifted pickup trucks.. (see Ian's picture)

now as for the comment on that the shocks are for shock absorbing and not height control this is true. but i think the same concept would go the same as my air shocks, you fill the shock with more fluid it should extend the shocks shaft to its fullest extent and possibly lifting it 2-3"

Air shocks are a different animal, Fluid cannot be compressed. Using fluid to add ride height in a shock would basically create a solid suspension.

Though using an airbag type device on top of a strut and using fluid to fill it would give a nice solid way to variably add height when needed.

I can only drive in sideways to a certain extent.

My driveway is VERY narrow, and has huge brick colums on either side of the gate, as well as really stupid curbing.

If you don't go in on the EXACT angle and straighten up at the right time, you will take out the lip, the nose panel or the wheels (or all 3 if you aren't careful).

For people browsing this thread looking for options, I would avoid K-Sport like the plague.

I'm sure others would agree with me. The Air Force kit is looking pretty awesome though.
