Adding Cruise Control to a 1JZ

Can anyone offer any support or advice to add cruise control to a 1jz.
I've got an '89 cressida with a 1jz installed by Grip Industries. Currently the vehicle has no cruise control, or atleast appears to not have any.

I wanted to know what i need to do at add it. The original setup in these vehicles has cruise so it sounds like i might just need the mechanism and wiring to plug into the harness?

I am sure you could retrofit the 7M cruise unit, and just somehow fab a bracket to attach it to the throttle plate linkage. The speed sensor signals should be the same as the 7m as the same r154 trans is used.

im wondering about this too,
so if I just hook up the cruise actuator, it should work?
or does it need to be wired some how?
