i know its purpose, but whats the point of disabling the neutral start switch to save your thrust washers? Wouldnt you want to NOT disable that... i mean, starting the car in gear cant be good on those thrust washers...can it :)

I'm sure it's not good at all for your car to start it in gear... someone in another thread was talking about disabling it so they could put in a remote start...

yes i could see the point of that, which is one of the reasons why im not using it in my 5spd swap process but i dont get the point of disabling the neutral start switch to save your thrust washers from being destroyed?

oh I'm not sure about that either... I don't see it helping your thrust washer out at all though... b\c the switch is all electrical... the tranny isn't... so I'm not sure... maybe someone else will know...
