i have been checking these two items out and was wondering who out there has gotten these. i am looking at both 6-puck setups. they both seem good to me. i heard a few ppl say that one was hard to push in on the pedel due to the 3200lb pressure plate. i cant remember which one though. i am going with a fidanza alum. flywheel and alum. driveshaft. i figure either one would hold well, i am only going to be putting 18-20 psi on it. but if anyones got some feedback that would help. thanks-

RPS Max series 6 puck, rated over 600 ft lbs. Not too hard to push. My wife used to drive my last 5 speed that had one. Great clutch, it held up to every weekend drag racing for 2 years running 400rwhp

I like my rps maxx series stg iii clutch with my rps 3200lb pp... the pp makes it a little harder to push in... actually it's like pushing on a rock compared to stock...

with the RPS

grab the RPS clutch, open toilet and flush down it. It is crap and the Customer support is bunch of crap to.

Stick with ACT.

well i hope for your sake it never brakes because you will find out first hand how shitty that company is if you don't put down $1000+ for one of thier clutch. Trust me I am not the only one here.

I decided to go with the act 6-puck solid hub rated at over 500hp and torque and is running fine so far. A few people I know run rps clutches, and they haven't complained about it either.

I made the sig using his car off carbonfibrefx.com I just realised he is on our forum. He has no affiliation with fusion car club but who knows maybe down the road he will. Since I had no clue he would ever see my sig I will remove it if he so wants me too. I really love the styling of his car and look up to it as a blueprint (almost) for mine.

I can do $600 for the RPS Maxx Stage II. One of our car's has been running this clutch over a year now without any problems. I highly recommend you bypass the neutral switch or bad things will happen to your thrust washers.

yeah... I purchased their rps maxx series Stg III clutch which was the second highest clutch they had... it's holding up very strong and I like it a lot... it'll probably hold a lot more than I'm throwin at it to...

Ha relax man, we're just giving u a hard time. He's very humble about things from what I've read on his posts. He'd probably like to see that actually. But we'll wait to see if he notices first. Yea his car is a very fine model for any MKIII. Two cars I would've most like to have seen in a mag, it is Duanes or Rons. Which btw Ron, if you read this, you will get a PM from me in a few months asking about pricing for a FFIM long runner for me.

Go with the HPF bronze series clutch disk with an ACT PP.
We have been throwing 460 ft-lbs at it for nearly a year and it NEVER slips, NEVER chatters, and is so smooth to drive. I've have the RPS max, and it does indeed hold well, but it sucks for daily driving, especially with the segmented flywheel. You have to rev and dump to move...

who is using the sprung or solid setup? i heard teh solid setup is way hard for street drivability? also, i found an RPS Max 6 stage III with 3200lb pp w/ sprung hub for $650. is that a reasonable price? or kinda high? seems cheap to me though.......

I'm also using the RPS 3200lb with a stock Toyota sprung disc. Holding strong with 530rwhp chucked at it daily with out any problems..

wait so what exactly is the significance of disabling the neutral start switch and saving thrust washers?
