AC Problem???

The temps on never rise above the half way mark no matter how far of a drive it is. but whenever i turn on my AC the temps rise dramatically. i have no dea what mite be causing this. any suggestions will be will be really helpfull.

you are putting more load onto the engine, so its working harder and getting hotter...maybe because the condensor is infront of the rad, so when you have the ac on and the condensor is getting hot, its taking away cool air from the rad..???

you need better fans or probably get your radiator flushed.

if cooling fan still in good condition then you might have bad cooling fan clutch , which won't allow cooling fan spin at higher rpm when it needed .

Or the radiator is bad.

It means your cooling system is not working right.

is it the stock OEM blet driven fan or "aftermarket" electricals?

look into the radiator.

As a matter of fact. Check your radiator pressure cap. How old is that?
