this maybe a daft question but i need to swap over a front abs sensor. Thing is the bolt has rusted bad, and i cant make a socket go onto it. whats the best way to get this bolt out? ive wd40'd it ive tried to shock it off with mole grips and a hammer. next im gonna heat it up but after that ive no ideas.

any ideas appreciated

well ive tried a torch on it and ive tried a cold chisel on it. ITS STILL STUCK IN stupid bolt. im thinking now id be better off removing the whole hub section so i can get it in a vice. then i may be able to drill it out or get more heat onto it as its a bit dodgy trying to heat it up when your crouched over the wheel arch aswell

Take a run down to the local parts store and find yourself the best penetrating oil they can give you.
If you can get PB Blaster, get it.
If not that, then Liquid Wrench, or there's one made by Zep that's apparently very good.

Inquire about PB Blaster if you don't find it.
