my abs sensor has been on ever since the GE-auto to GE-manual swap. i never wired in the neutral switch, it just started with no issues and without the clutch needing to be depressed. it turns on after 15 feet of driving and never turns off. under hard braking the driver side front tire locks up first.

no engine codes at all. just and ABS light. what diagrams??????? im going off the troubleshooting chart. tsrm say to check the speed sensor due to code 4 and 5 and NO B codes.

TSRM

"inspection of speed sensor
check that there is continuity between A and B four times per each revolution of the shaft. if continuity is not as specified, replace the sensor"

Appears he didn't ;)

I'm trying to help you but I don't have much time. I'm not supposed to be here and come midnight I go back to being a pumpkin. If the cluster sensor wasn't working you'd get an engine code so it appears yours is OK. And when I said "diags" I meant the cruise control diagnostics. They provide a quick way of testing the cluster sensor...

IF the sensor rotor is in the tranny, you could just pop the freeze plug off that blocks the location of the rear speed sensor.

Gotten conflicting info on if they put the rotor in all the trannies or not...

IF the sensor rotor is in the trans, if not you either need to add it to yours (open it up, dunno how difficult) or replace the tranny.
