if your just getting it resurfaced any auto machine shop can do it....no need to hunt someone who has 7m experience....resurfacing is monkey work.

Look in your phone book for performance shops...they will know where a machine shop is.

just make sure they can hit an RA Spec of at least 50
MHG or not... its better to have a smooth surface.

If they have NO idea what an RA spec is... hang up or walk away...

Well actually no.....

Composite gaskets work better with a coarser surface finish.

As the head and block move in use the "teeth" from the cutter marks bite into the gasket giving a better seal.

Can't do this with a MHG as it's non deformable, composites have .6mm of crush.

even say... a belt sander? haha...
i know for a composit, its a lot less "picky". but doesnt that same surface also create hot spots? just wondering...
