I adjusted the TPS to zero ohms, .40mm gauge=continuity, .75mm gauge= no continuity. then measured ohms 0mm VTA-E2 no reading, .4mm idl-e2 no reading, .75mm idl-e2 no reading, full throttle vta-e2 no reading at any point in throttle position.
He is correct to test the TPS since it is used to generate the L1,L2,L3 signals that feed the ECT. However, his test technique is not right. He should follow the TSRM test here
Electronics control the solenoids. If it drives normal unplugged, it has to be control, and not just stuck solenoid from varnish or something. This excludes him leaving information out of his post that he isn't telling us. Not that he is doing that, but it happens.
