This is something that has been done quite a few times already and there is always new interest as well - myself included. Since it's such an area of interest and something that generates a lot of similar threads is there any reason the links above, if not a new complete writeup, shouldn't be added in "SupraReference/Tech Tips"?

How about we get everything and do it in your garage... Ill pay you with fast food.

Im not kidding either.

Sounds good, when do you wanna do it? Ive got this Friday-Sunday off with no plans.

Ive got a flywheel and clutch but Im not sure about the condition of the clutch disc. If you want to pick up a new clutch disc it would be a good idea. Other than that everythings in good shape.

Edit: When the clutch disc was pulled out it was working car shifted fine, but I know how finnicky our cars are so Im just letting you know beforehand.

I did this swap a about two months ago and it wasn't that hard. It was hard for me to get the pedals out of both cars. Take your front seat out. It has four bolts and will save you tons of time and give you more space to work in. I took the one out of the donor car also. Good luck...........lol

Mk. So Ive got the tranny, the lines, the cluth cylinder/slave cylinder, the ECU, flywheel, Pressure plate, driveshaft.

Only thing I can think of for now is a new clutch disc ($60) and fluids (75W-90 valvoline gear oil, maybe $20).

You're getting a damn good deal for just some fast food lol.

I start college again sometime around August 21st. But Im up for doing it anytime.

You have to have the brake pedal and clutch pedal from another car if you don't have one already. Very generous of you to help the man out like that Yellow. Hope the swap goes smoothly.

I think Conan is staring at me...................:ugh:

Just the pedal or the whole master cylinder? Eh I have both either way. I plan on going R-154 Since Im doing a turbo swap on one of my cars so Ive got a ton of spare parts. 3 W-58s just sitting in my garage right now.

Conan sees all.

You will have to add a mastercylinder to his auto car. The holes are already there though. His brake pedal will have to come out, and you will use your brake pedal and clutch pedal. For me they were a pain in the ass, but I'm not flexible enough to fold up and get under the dash. Once I took the drivers seat out, it made it alot easier. You will also need the clutch line that goes from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder, but I'm sure you have all of that....................lol

Hells, if I was you, I'd rearrange me schedule if possible to match Yellows. He may not be in a tranny swapping mood in a month or so. Just my two cents worth. It really was worth it once I got it done. I searched every thread on here before I did mine and it really paid off. The wiring helped out alot. Good luck.

Suprahero: I know about the having to install the clutch master cylider, Im talking about the master brake cylinder, Is it just a pedal swap or do I have to change out the whole master cylinder.

Hells: Dont worry about paying me, foods good enough payment for me. We could trade parts if you dont need them after the swap up to you. As for parts you might wanna get: A new clutch disc ($60, or put your trust in my old ones lol) 75W-90 valvoline gear oil. Im pretty sure I have a manual 7MGE throttle body laying around I just need to remember where I put it, Ill let you know If I find it. My schedules pretty open, but before August 21st would be the best since I know nothings coming up until then. The swap should take a day with 2 people. I can get my cousin to help out too but hes not very mechanical.

Sorry for the misunderstanding Yellow. You leave your master brake cylinder. You just use your pedal. Hope it all goes smoothly.
