That's a HOT dyno graph man.

With respect to the poll, I think that it all depends on how you want make power from your car. If you're a big N/A guy, then go for the LSx. If you're more into forced induction, I think that the 1UZ would be a much better choice. They're as bulletproof as the JZ series, with greater displacement.

This is of course, just my OPINION.

will, the ls2 is the engine from the base model c6 corvette and the new GTO's, they make 400hp at the crank, u thinking of gm's most powerful production engine, the LS7 from the z06, it makes 505hp stock w/ titanium rods and valvetrain, and as far as supercharging them from what i've heard they dont hold up well over about 700hp

i'm bad, i'm nationwide
well i'll find out firsthand this winter..or as soon as i get moved into new house and have old one sold

have a 90 targa, drivetrain stripped out and sold off just waiting to be molested

prolly use gm crate motor, carbed good 330 hp for like 3500 front dress and all
th700,for now to get bugs worked out, then step up to a turnkey lq9 good for 470 hp i think, use the other eng for daughters car

got to sell the old house first...anyone want a cheap place in tx panhandle?

*IF* I were ever to get a severe head injury that made me think that putting anything but a turbo 6 into a Supra was ok, I'd have to go with the Toyota motor.

However, why screw with perfection?

+1 or just wait till the new lexus comes out with the v10.:evil2:

all i can say is simple is better for every day driving and a simple plug and play drop in swap with minimal down time 1JZ is the way to go the 1.5JZ then last 2JZ but start with the 1jz then you see how easy it is to keep the JZ series engine in your car.

i think the 2JZ-GTE can kill any V8 .. . . V10 hmmm some V12's but haves unlimited potential and reliability cost more but . . . . nother story.
