as said before the only real way is to go standalone.... i dont think any piggy back has that capability.... yet,
Map ecu 2 Does NOT raise rev limit, they expanded the map to 10,000 RPM but it cannot raise your rev limit to that. i heard of that crystal thing before as well and i didn't think it worked out

Thats F**king tight.:aigo: I would have to go full on with it tho and 1000$, at that price i would just go for something else standalone, amazing work tho.
So what really limits the rev limit? ECU for one, but is it the weakness of the rods/crank/head? What could go wrong revving to 7000?
:werd: you should only be worried about going above 6500 if you are wanting to make serious high end power.
when i bought my first supra 88 turbo, it had no rev limit. i dont know what had been done to it. but i would dump the clutch at 8k every time the car was sitting still. thats also probably why it only lasted me about 8 months. 130k miles and 8k aunches dont mix
