A Question about buying/reselling eagle tallon

I was gonna buy this 95 auto Eagle Talon Esi with hid projectors 18' black rims nice red paint no dings or dents for $400 Just so I can sell it or make it a DD. Now the bad part is that the motor could be blown. I was gonna buy it just to sell it and get parts for my car but I wanna see if it would be a good idea so help me out guys what do you think???

$400 bucks sounds pretty damn cheap...if nothing more there has to be at least that in parts in it.

From how you described it, it sounds pretty nice.

Buy it and sell the rims for $600-700(if it has good tires). Then just sell the car again for about 400-500.

Thats what I would do, minimal work for a quick buck lol

I just hate talons, a guy I know had a 96 ESI and he modded it a bit, biggest POS ever, lost to everything and anything and they hold no resell value, hes been trying to sell his for a while, he has a rebuilt motor, exhaust, headers, msd, intake, and head unit, new shocks and new tires and all and hasn't had any luck yet. if you buy it good luck is all.

I couldn't find an engine in a junkyard locally...

Just price out everything that you may need and make sure you're gonna make enough money from it to justify the work, you don't wanna put an engine in to make $50. :icon_razz

Ok now ypur freind and me...big diff I dont know where your from but here in Florida it could be pretty easy to sell a 95 talon here especially if it sounds or looks like a rice car emmm I mean race car lol. And if anything to race with hmm not really my style to go with an auto let alone a FF at that plus I got that sup-dupe to race. lol yeah that sh!* would be hella tight but its an auto right now and to do that conversion would cost me some loot. If anything I wanna keep it auto just to drive around or sell cause alot of lil kidies like to think there driving a 5-speed but u really here no shift (ya know) and they will pay more for autos (for the ones that can drive then it would be diff ya feel me?
