OK. I think you are missing the point. GE and the GTE sound totally different, believe it or not. If you want to go ahead and run a straight pipe, then do it. When your ears bleed profusely, then youll probaly wish you had just taken the advice that has been given to you repeatedly. Cut your rear most muffler off, start your car, and listen. Then, work from there...

sorry u made the mistake. and incase u missed it, my muffler is bolt-on... maybe thats a non-standard way of attaching exaust or it's just an easeir less-perfect way... but yeah. if it WAS a nice sound i would have asked les schuab to simply remive it, and then i'd affix a nice chrome pipe to the back. now i won't!
