Cool set up....though, just wondering....I only thought the 6m motors came in the Crown and the Soarer.

you are correct, you can have them imported here, but are getting a little harder to find. His engine is installed in a mk2 supra.

My engine is a 5MGE that i have rebuild with the crank and the rods from an 7MGTE.
Then i made my "own" 6MGE :)

Thanks for the positive feedback :)
More pic will come soon.

i can see the point of putting the "shroud" around the ITB's... but i always thought the point of them was that why just suck in a ton of air around them... seems like that plenum is kinda out of place... maybe its just me.

still pretty freakin sick!!!!! i always wanted a 69 mustang with a 302 and ITB's sittin on top of all 8 intake ports... always thought that would sound mean as hell..

The point of the intake box , is that i mount it when the car is on the road, and then at race days / events i can take the plenum off so the engine will sound good :).
The intake box is only an extra option to ensure the longer and better life for the engine :)

He he no.....it is not made for Boost or any thing like that.
When i reach 250rwhp on my homemade 6m...i build a 2.8l 24v also with itb and the goal with that one is 300+hp!

Dont want to go turbo....everybody does that....i like to make things that everybody dont made.!

Here is the latest pic, still need some finish but it is soon ready :)

haha I totally understand where you are coming from and the allure of a finely tuned naturally aspirated engine. The ITB setup is the crowning jewel of your hard work. I too hope to make an ITB setup someday, it's great to see your success!

with regards to your 7m/5m combo engine..you may want to reconsider the smaller displacement idea for an NA application.

Thanks :).
I will make some small adjustments.....It will be with an 2.8l crank (85mm stroke) And then with some custom pistons (85mm), and custom rods.
I will build a "screamer" with parts fro mboth 5m and 7m engines.
The displacement will be very close to an normal 7mge (2998ccm).
That was my crazy plan ;-)

And then with some special ITB i have designed in my head ;-).

But first i need to be finish with this project, and then the other project will be started.
