Ok, 400. Are you bustin' my balls for a particular reason or are we just grumpy today? :icon_razz

Alternator go OK?

Nick: I remember the hill well. It and the old WWII barracks. That was a long time ago though. Truth is my memories of basic at Jackson aren't bad. It was a lot easier than what followed.

So after ohming out the Tps the resistance between idl and e2 was 23 ohms closed throttle. All other pins are at infinite or short. I'm getting another Tps and starting over. The problem is during cold starting and trying to idle. It's not in limp mode because it revs freely through the rpm band however if chop the throttle during this time it usually stalls I have been digging into past threads and there are many who have had similar issues. You guys have helped me a lot and saved me a lot of time in pointing me in the right direction.

Code 41 might explain your hesitation, but cause of bad warmup idle, that doesn't seem likely.

You should confirm that the ISCV is working properly. Is the warm idle speed correct?

Well, any time you have an active code 31 fault you are in fail safe mode. Your 31 must have been old. The 41 is due to the bad TPS. Once replaced it should correct the hesitation but don't expect it to help the cold start problem. You'll need to look elsewhere for that.

Edit: beaten by 3p. You win this time Meester Bond!

Too funny.
Watching the two premier electro-braniacs of Supramania competing at at 'speed solving'.
You should be flattered, Morganson.

Alright just so everyone here knows, got the new Tps on and calibrated and drove the car around for a min. The code 31 came back but the 41 is gone and it starts and idles now. I just need to fix a coolant line that blew of surfing the test run and service the tranny and the fun will commence.

Do you have any thoughts on the 31? It appears intermittent. Sometimes its there others its not. Could the open air filter be causing a problem or is it just simply a failing mas?
