i want to make more power of my stock supra but i want it reliable too!ok we all want that but my target hp is very modest --»300
to reach that i have already changed:
-exhaust with a turbo back 3"
-irínium spark plugs
and i'm thinking in turn up the boost in stock turbo with a manual boost controler...?!is it good to do it?how much can i safely boost?will i reach my goal?

SUPRA RULES!!!(in Portugal too!)

You might hit fuel cut before you get to 300HP (wheel HP at least). In which case you'll need more.

Other then that just make sure its in good condition, get an intake, and if you still need more then turn up the boost some.

don't know how safe the auto's are, engine will be fine as long as its in good shape. Youll need to change your HG probably or youll end up blowing it out eventually. Improvement will absolutely be noticeable. on average 10-15HP/lb of boost w/the ct-26

I think IwantMKIII is selling the stock setup a little short. It responds quite well to basic flow mods and requiring all the stuff you listed along with saying it needs a good tune to make 300 crank...just isn't true.

I still say leave it like it is, get an intake, maybe an electronic boost controller, turn up the boost a little (fuel cut will kick in before you should be able to do any damage) and see if you're happy or not.

As always good maintenance is key.

^i'm only putting out 270WHP on all my mods, though with a good size leak in my EGR...enough to put it down to 7.7PSI at peak power when boost controller is set for ~11ish

"As always good maintenance is key."i do understand what you mean!!!!!!!!!!!
today i have seen in my car the fucking BHG!!!!the tubs of radiator are full of pressure!and the engine oil is like one "café com leite"!!lol
i say "lol" because i bought the mk3 2weks ago and it was already one thing to do sooner or lather(rebuild&head job) but now is much better because isn't my pocket that's going to be ripoff!car dealers use to play with people pockets but this one, HIS ASS is MINE!his mechanic is on vacations and all job in supra is going to be done on my mechanic, the one ho built my 1st car (civic-sold to buy supra)!

So at barely more then stock boost, you're assuming that you need all that stuff to make power? LMAO.

I have probably less then half the number of power adding mods to my car, easily run 15psi and make more power.

Just because your setup sucks for whatever reason, doesn't mean everyone else's sucks too.

(This is really all moot since he has a BHG anyway... or so he thinks.)
