Two things come to mind.
First, there's a significant trend towards the 'entitlement attitude' among folks online. These are the people who think the internet in general owes them something. They ask questions without even a token search to see if it's already been covered. They are impatient, and bump their threads more than is necessary, or even more than will help. Basically, they act as though the internet should be their mommy and daddy. The closer you, or anyone, for that matter, resembles this profile, the less respect and attention your posts will receive. At the far end of the scale, the absolute entitlement individual will be pointlessly flamed, often with outright acceptance for the bad behavior from the community. I'm not saying this applies to you specifically, I'm simply writing out the characteristics. You get to be your own judge.
Second, we don't know you. We don't talk to you, on the phone, or in person. The ONLY criteria that we have to judge your character is your writing, and, to a small degree, how well you keep your word. If you take shortcuts while writing - ignore spelling, grammar, or worse, deliberately substitute "u" for "you", misuse words - "two", "too", and "to" come to mind, omit capitalization and punctuation, then this reflects on your character. We tend to think you act the same way when turning wrenches - ignore torque settings, use imperial wrenches on metric bolts because they are 'close enough', assemble parts without cleaning or lubrication, etc, etc. This may not be correct - you may be an exceptional mechanic who writes poorly, however, the impression remains.
