I'm not sure how much Toyota charges for it.

But I just installed the Marlin Crawler Heavy duty shifter bushing in my R154 and it is amazingly tight.

These guys know what they are doing, They are the best Toyota Truck transmission specialists In California, probably the world!

Product MC-10077

I HIGHLY recommend it.

Cost me 16 dollars to my door. They sipped it yesterday, and I got it today, But they are only like 2 Hours away from me. :icon_razz

Not saying it's bad or anything but don't you think it'd be a good idea to wait and see how it performs before endorsing it so strongly?
(a bunch of young guys may rush out and buy it then what happens if it's not good in xx months? this really applies to any product)

acutally ive been running one in my truck for 2 1/2 years, and 1 year in my supra with no problems. It is machined out of solid plastic so its a bit tougher to install but man does it tighten things up! I also reccomend getting the shifter end bushing as well.

Got my kit from Champion Toyota (shifter, seat and gasket). Here's what it costs me plus $5 shipping. Works great too and yeah what a difference new bushing and seat makes compare to the old ones.

Shifter bushing:
4.60 List 3.30 Sale - In stock

Shifter seat:
10.83 List 7.75 Sale - In stock

Gasket:

you cant get the one that marlin makes from toyota. It is wayyyyyy stiffer than stock and i think every supra or w- or r- series tranny should own!

i had picked up 2 sets of these, i oiled it up a bit prior to install, i did notice that the return springs weren't stong enough in the tranny to center the stick for awhile till it either wore a little or got lubricated enough.
either way, great mod, shouldn't have any worse effect then the stocker!

I know of quite a few people running the Marlin Crawler stuff, for the last few years. Haven't heard one bad thing about them. :)

not like this is news....these have been around forever and i've been running them for nearly as long.

there's no comparison between the toyota stuff and the marlincrawler stuff. i wasted a brand new set of toyota stuff in 1 season....quickly replaced them w/the marlincrawler stuff and have yet to replace those.

I have the green truck bushing in my tranny right now and seems a bit stiffer then before. I guess when I get a new tranny I'll get a marlincarwler set.
