Ya, sorry. I read that wrong. Common sense not working so hot tonight. lol

That extra rpm would be useful. I'm too used to shifting early to make up for a useless CT26.

Keep in mind that while you want squat, that the increased camber with make the contact patch smaller giving less traction.

Sean, do you really have to come in here and confuse me all over again?........:biglaugh:

Justin, You said you'd keep the 3.73..... have you tried the 3.91's before? Just curious. I have a good 3.73 that I can put back in there if that is what I need. I dont' think I'll be trapping anywhere near 130, but hopefully I will. I was trapping around the 120 mark with 490rwhp though. We'll see. Thanks for the info, and keep it coming.

I'm hoping to get it sprayed next week and then I can start putting it back together.

You painted the car again!!!!!

I think we need to setup an intervention, you painting addiction is getting out of hand. You know how to solve the rock chip problems, dont drive so much. I know it seems hard to do , but thats the first steps of recovery.

On a serious note, have you looked into a custom coilover setup. Something like koni/bilsteins and choice springs, built for a street/strip setup. Contact Wiisass i know he builds custom coilover setups.

Denz...I mean Fuzz, I believe you may be right. I have thought he might have problem with paint, but I just didn't want to be the one to bring it up.:icon_bigg

As for the paint, the college is doing it for free, except I have to pay for the paper and tape that they use and I already had the paint.......:icon_bigg

Have you had the college paint your car before? There's a tech school local to me and I have wondered if it was worthwhile to have them paint my car for the same deal, cost of paint and supplies.

Makes me worry, though. I envision painted exhaust, wheels, and gas tank. Although I suppose I could prep it before they spray...

Abe, they do have my trim and it will be the same color...........hopefully.

S90turbo, I've seen cars that they've painted and they all look very well done. I'm not saying it's going to be perfect, but nothing about my car is perfect. It's a great car and I love it, but perfection is something I don't think I could obtain so I'm easily pleased and very seldomly disappointed.

yep. i found on my car about 2* positive camber works well.

i prefer the 3.73 gears, but i dont turn as high as you do. sean turns 7200 or so in his and the 3.91 works well.

you may also consider using height adj bilstein shocks with stock springs. is a pretty good combo for street/strip. all that being said, duane was able to dial in his tein setup and cut a 1.6 or so 60'.

good luck with the car! wish i could make tx but it's a bit too far for me.
