1) Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the speed cut defenser for the 91 supra and 1jzgte?

2) I'm not getting fuel unless I jump it in the diagnostics. Does anyone know which wires go to the fuelpump?

3) Does Halle Barry date white guys?..............:naughty:

Not getting fuel pump turning on at all would not be the regulator. Is the stock fuel pump relay and resistor plugged in in the engine bay?

The speed cut defencer goes inline with the only pink wire going to the ecu. The other two wires are 12v ign switched and ground.

Here is the instructions from Greddy:
http://www.greddy.com/img/PHP/products/pdf/809.pdf

I'm going to check the wiring tomorrow on the relay. It got dark on me tonight. I knew it wasn't the regulator.
I had that info from Greddy, but I didn't know if it was for my car or not. I have the instructions that came with it, but couldn't figure out which diagram to use. My choices are:
JZ80 with 2jz
MA70 with 7mgte
The problem is the 7mgte has three plug in's in the back and the 1jz has four plug in's in the back.

I knew if I typed in Halley Barry's name someone would post even if they didn't know the correct answer, and no Vixen isn't available..................:biglaugh:

It's the pin that says "SP1" in the diagram, it's actually called "SPD", pin T8.
It's a pink wire. Set the SLD to ma70 if it does not have a jza70 option, both cars have exactly the same speed pulse from the factory spedometer.

When we cut the SPD wire on my friend's Mark II Tourer V 1JZ-GTE 5-speed he didn't get boost cut anymore. However, once he hit 180Kph his check engine light would come on. My friend with the same car but auto, we cut the same wire and he doesn't have speed cut either, but his overdrive bulb flashes off and on.

Wonder if we can do this on the A70 as well...hmmm. Be right back.

Speed cut and boost cut are not related at all, I don't see how cutting the speed sense wire would eliminate boost cut. If you cut the speed sense wire you will get a check engine light when driving at any speed. The SLD just limits the output frequency so that the ecu never thinks the car is going above a specific speed, or the output can also be used to go to a boost controller for two stage boost control from vehicle speed.

yes but some people might want it gone now or dont want to spend that much money right now

i never said it got rid of both

i said it would get rid of speed cut but the CEL would stay on.

plug? you just have 4 wires.. power, ground speed in and speed out?

I was told to use the 7mgte diagram, but the 7mgte has three plug ins in the back of the ecu and the 1jz has four. I wish it was as easy for me as it is for a few of the other people on here, but I'm not an electrical genius. I guess it sounds easy if you know what you're doing, but I've never claimed I know what I'm doing. I'm not giving up or anything, it's just going to take me longer than it would a few others on here............lol
